InteleViewer Basics

  1. Patient Search – Click this to bring up the search window again
  2. Report – Click to bring up report for viewing and exporting as PDF
  3. Loupe – Select tool, and use mouse to click on the area of the image you wish to magnify
  4. Contrast & Brightness – Select tool, then click and hold the mouse over the image in the main window. Drag left to increase contrast, drag right to reduce contrast. Drag down to reduce brightness, drag up to increase brightness.
  5. Magnifiying tool – Select tool, then click and hold the mouse over the main image, drag the mouse up to zoom in, and down to zoom out. Magnifies the entire image at once. Use the Pan tool to the left of it to reposition the magnified image.
  6. Measuring tool – Select tool, then click and hold the mouse on the image, and drag to the desired end point you wish to measure and let go. Measurement will appear on the bottom left hand screen. Lateral Ceph images can also be callibrated to obtain accurate 1:1 measurements.

Exporting scans as JPEG image

OPGs, Cephs and Cone Beam CT workup (not the axial volumes) can be exported in JPEG format and imported into your clinics dental management software or to be shared with other clinicians.

  1. Click on the “Browse” button to select a destination to save the image to
  2. Rename the file
  3. Make sure format is JPEG
  4. Make sure Capture viewport and From DICOM is selected

Once you have done this your InteleViewer account will remember these settings. However if you use your same account on a different computer, you will need to select a new saving location.

Note:

  • InteleViewer accounts can only be used on one computer at a time. Using the same account across multiple computers will cause the other accounts to stop operating.
  • InteleViewer account login and password is case sensitive. If the password has been entered incorrectly 3 times, you will be locked out of your account. If this happens please contact our clinic to have the account unlocked.
  • Automatic recovery of your password is possible if you enter your email into your account profile. To do this, go to: https://pacs.xray.com.au , login, and go to My Profile
  • To Receive notifications on images and/or reports becoming available, go to https://pacs.xray.com.au/portal
    • Go to Profile, and go to Notifications tab.
    • Select the events that you wish to be notified for.
